Oh wait! I really missed you guys!
School has kind of consumed my soul, lately.
Luckily with Christmas break (who are they kidding, it's not a holiday break...and Secret Santa is not Secret Snowman or Secret Snowflake) I'll be able to get back to posting regularly!
Today has been the most delightful use of a Saturday:
-driving on the highway for the first time..and actually enjoying it whilst going through all the ways I could possibly die in my head
-reading The French Lieutenant's Woman all cozied up in my mom's Snuggie. I'll admit it, they're fantastic
-looking through the last decade's worth of Comme des Garcons collections
-cracking out my mom's 30 year old sewing machine for a little adventure with the needle and thread...positive reviews of said venture to be determined
-waiting for a snow storm that NEVER CAME
-making Christmas pressies
-listening to Coldplay all day...I always have those moments when I re-realize how much I love them
I think the best part of the day was just being able to get my creative juices flowing again. When it gets to this time of year at school, I literally feel like all I do is eat, sleep, and work.
That said, I really really really miss blogging. A lot. I miss reading your stories and sharing mine with you. Hopefully life will stop getting too far ahead of me soon!
Since it's been so cold lately (seriously, it feels like freaking Pluto but we still don't have snow...what's that all about?) my picture taking has begun to be limited to the indoors. My room is kind of unsightly, but luckily I love our living room. It's so warm and home-y. And apparently it matches my dress. Crazy stuff.
(dress: vintage, belt: vintage, leggings: ...JC Penny? Macy's? Generic department store of choice?, boots: Michael Kors)
As you can see, the brother-creature decided to join in on the fun. Boys will be boys.
The Michael Kors boots have been kind of over-worn on the blog, but that doesn't concern me too much. I seriously live in them. So comfy, and perfectly fitting with literally any ensemble I can conjure up. That's always a good sign.

Especially ever since school eated my brains (sorry to tell you, but after universal history´s trimestral, my brain will neeever be himself again)
I´ve spended my day by watching 80s supermodels on youtube (why do they have to do a revival of shouldar pads? why not revive the personality filled supermodels? oh right, they were divas, got that), watching fabulous audrey all day long (sabrina was today´s choice, my family rthinks that I´m très fou for watching this instead of new moon, like any other girl), arranging christmas decorations and making sets on polyvore :)
There´s a Dan Brown out there waiting for me ;D (that sounds so nice!)
